French Toast Muffins


Mamas, let’s be real.  French toast is the best and it makes for such an amazing start to the morning!

The best part of this recipe is that it starts with basic ingredients- until you add in all of your  favourite toppings! 

Ingredients: 

1 loaf of 1-2 day old bread (you can use challah, white bread, whole grain bread)

3 egg

1 cup of milk

butter for the pan

That’s it!!! 

 

Directions: 

Preheat oven to 350F 

Tear bread into smaller pieces and place into a mixing bowl 

Crack 3 eggs into a separate bowl and beat until combined, then add milk (Feel free to add cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg or any of your favourite spice add ins!)

Mix the egg mixture  with the bread until combined 

Fill a muffin tin with cupcake liners or butter if using a 9×13 pan

Divide the mixture between 12 muffin tins and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown on top!
