Ahuva Magder Hershkop is a Toronto based  Registered Dietitian, writer and mother of twins (Yes! She has heard that twins are  a handful once or twice!!!).

As a dietitian and mom Ahuva knows how important family  meal time is promoting healthy growth now and long lasting food positive relationships for kids in the future. She also knows how stressful (we’re talking pull out your hair stress!!) it can be to feed a kiddo who just doesn’t seem to want to eat.

As a busy mom of twins Ahuva understands that the “what to” is not always the determining factor to success without a proven, realistic “how to” to go along! Ahuva works with parents to encourage responsive feeding, and create individualized practical strategies for families to improve the mealtime experience, and develop a plan to ensure that your mealtime experience is as nourishing to your family as the foods you put on the table are.

Ahuva is a member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario, Dietitians of Canada, and the Canadian Celiac Association. Ahuva manages a private practice with a specific interest in paediatric health, healthy food introduction and allergy management in many different practice locations:
Ahuva completed an Honours Bachelors of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food from Ryerson University before completing her Masters in Applied Nutrition at the university of Guelph.
Ahuva has worked as dietitian at the Cleveland Clinic Canada’s executive health program working with executive clients to optimize their overall health. Ahuva currently practices as a clinical Research Dietitian in the Hospital for Sick Children’s Food Allergy Program and supports the nutrition clinic at Kindercare Paediatrics.
. Ahuva strives to ensure that all clients have access to appointments, using in person meetings as well as phone and skype sessions to navigate busy work schedules, and determine manageable goals to achieve overall health and healthy childhood growth.
